Mozart: Flute Quartet No. 1 in D Major, KV. 285 莫札特：C大調弦樂五重奏 Mozart: Strings Quintet in C Major KV. 515 莫札特： g小調鋼琴四重奏 Mozart: Piano Quartet in g minor KV. 478 擷取吸收前輩的精華，但卻不以此為滿足，天才的創意永遠讓人讚嘆。海頓在弦樂四重奏領域的成就非凡，卻從未嘗試創作弦樂五重奏，莫札特踏著前輩的步伐，不但創作了二十三首精彩的弦樂四重奏，更嘗試增加一支中提琴，完成了六首弦樂五重奏，將弦樂室內樂提升到更高的藝術境界，出版於1789年的C大調弦樂五重奏，更被音樂學者愛因斯坦(Alfred Einstein)譽為：「崇高有著王者風範，並蘊含著宿命的情結。」與他的g小調鋼琴四重奏常被拿來與第41、第40號交響曲相類比。編號 KV. 285的長笛與弦樂的四重奏則是莫札特在薩爾茲堡時期的作品，也是一首廣受喜愛的古典名曲，小提琴大師林昭亮與國臺交的音樂家，將以最精湛與細膩的組合，重現天才作曲家的古典室內樂經典。 Geniuses never stop absorbing the best from their predecessors, and continue to awe the world with their creativity. Haydn achieved unparalleled greatness in the area of string quartets, yet never attempted to compose string quintets. Mozart dared to venture further. He raised string chamber music to a higher artistic level by not only composing 23 marvelous string quartets, but also adding one more viola and finishing 6 string quintets. Mozart’s “Strings Quintet in C Major, KV. 515”, published in 1789, is applauded by music scholar Alfred Einstein as a piece with “the nobility of a monarch, and the resignation to fate”. This quintet, along with his “Piano Quartet in g minor, KV. 478”, are often compared with his Symphonies No. 41 and 40. The popular “Flute Quartet No. 1 in D Major, KV. 285”, another classical masterpiece, was completed by Mozart when he was in Salzburg. Tonight, master violinist Cho-Liang Lin teams up with the musicians of NTSO to present the classical chamber music of this genius composer with the utmost care and precision.
