根據孔恩（Thomas Kuhn）的說法，當異例（即不符合典範所預期的現象）的出現強迫某個學科社群必須重新思索該領域的基本假設，甚至進而調整基本的價值與方法論時，典範轉移的契機就出現了。幾十年來，新興科技、「兒童」觀念的改變、「童年」定義的變動，以及人們對於全球與當地社群的新觀感，一再為兒童文學帶來新的局面：不僅童書有所改變，人們（包括兒童與成人）與童書之間的互動關係也已經大不相同。這些情況為兒童文學專業人員帶來外雙溪校區（111台北市士林區臨溪路70號）
